I was recently approached by a couple folks about using Poppy McCahb as a mascot/spokesmodel for a "Gothic oriented" website.
As flattered as I am I'm not too sure I want the character I've been slaving over for the past 8 years being used to promote I site that I'm not entirely too sure I fully advocate.
Not that I have any problms with the " Goth" scene per se, I just don't want her personality being filtered down to that one tiny aspect.
Plus they were pretty vague about the content of the site, the last thing I want her schilling is some creepy Goth Porn fetish site.

I offered to draw up some character designs they could use instead but it was made pretty clear that they wanted Poppy.
